Harapan akan lahirnya pemimpin birokrasi berintegritas kembali bergema di Mimika. Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Mimika, melalui BKPSDM bekerja sama dengan Badan Kepegawaian Negara (BKN), menggelar seleksi terbuka Jabatan Pimpinan Tinggi (JPT) Pratama untuk 12 posisi strategis. Ajang ini berlangsung 2–4 September 2025 di Hotel Horison Ultima, Timika, dan resmi dibuka oleh Bupati Johannes Rettob didampingi Wakil Bupati Emanuel Kemong serta Asesor Utama BKN, Suprana Yusuf.
“Seleksi ini bukan sekadar prosedur administratif, tetapi sebuah langkah penting memastikan pejabat yang terpilih adalah sosok berintegritas, kompeten, dan berdedikasi tinggi. Kami ingin birokrasi Mimika benar-benar hadir melayani rakyat dengan hati,” tegas Bupati Johannes Rettob dalam sambutannya.
Dari total 95 ASN yang mendaftar, hanya 59 orang dinyatakan lolos tahapan seleksi administrasi. Mereka akan melanjutkan ke tahapan berikut: penulisan makalah, asesmen kompetensi, hingga wawancara akhir yang dipimpin tim asesor independen.
Suprana Yusuf, Asesor Utama BKN, menegaskan bahwa mekanisme seleksi terbuka merupakan implementasi langsung dari amanat UU ASN. “Prinsipnya sederhana: jabatan tinggi harus diisi secara terbuka dan kompetitif, agar setiap ASN memiliki kesempatan sama berkompetisi berdasarkan kemampuan dan prestasi,” jelasnya.
Seleksi ini diharapkan melahirkan pejabat tinggi Mimika yang mampu memimpin dengan inovasi, memperkuat koordinasi, dan menjawab cepat kebutuhan masyarakat. Lebih jauh, langkah ini menjadi wujud nyata komitmen Pemkab Mimika membangun pemerintahan yang responsif, transparan, dan berdaya saing menuju visi “Gerbang Emas” – Gerakan Kebangkitan Ekonomi Masyarakat Adil dan Sejahtera.

Open Selection for Primary High Leadership in Mimika: 59 Civil Servants Compete for Strategic Seats Toward a Professional Bureaucracy

A new hope for an accountable bureaucracy rises in Mimika. The Regency Government of Mimika, through BKPSDM in collaboration with the National Civil Service Agency (BKN), is holding an open selection for the Primary High Leadership Position (JPT Pratama) to fill 12 key posts. The process, running from September 2–4, 2025, at Horison Ultima Hotel, was officially opened by Regent Johannes Rettob, accompanied by Deputy Regent Emanuel Kemong and BKN’s Principal Assessor, Suprana Yusuf.
“This selection is not merely an administrative formality, but a crucial step to ensure that the appointed officials embody integrity, competence, and strong dedication. We want Mimika’s bureaucracy to truly serve the people wholeheartedly,” stated Regent Johannes Rettob.
Out of 95 applicants, 59 civil servants passed the administrative screening and advanced to the next stages: essay writing, competency assessment, and final interviews led by an independent assessor team.
According to Suprana Yusuf, the open selection mechanism is a direct implementation of the Civil Service Law. “The principle is clear: high-ranking positions must be filled openly and competitively, giving every civil servant an equal opportunity to compete based on merit and performance,” he emphasized.
This process is expected to produce high-level leaders capable of innovating, strengthening coordination, and responding swiftly to community needs. Ultimately, it represents the government’s commitment to building a transparent, competitive, and service-oriented administration toward the vision of “Gerbang Emas” – the Golden Gateway of Fair and Prosperous Economic Awakening.

Seleção Aberta para Cargos de Liderança em Mimika: 59 Funcionários Públicos Disputam Assentos Estratégicos rumo a uma Burocracia Profissional

A esperança por uma liderança íntegra e competente renasce em Mimika. O Governo Municipal de Mimika, através do BKPSDM em cooperação com a Agência Nacional da Função Pública (BKN), realiza a seleção aberta para os Cargos de Liderança de Alto Nível (JPT Pratama), a fim de preencher 12 postos estratégicos. O processo, que decorre de 2 a 4 de Setembro de 2025 no Hotel Horison Ultima, foi oficialmente inaugurado pelo Administrador Municipal Johannes Rettob, acompanhado pelo Vice-Administrador Emanuel Kemong e pelo Assessor Principal da BKN, Suprana Yusuf.
“Esta seleção não é apenas um procedimento administrativo, mas um passo fundamental para garantir que os dirigentes escolhidos possuam integridade, competência e dedicação elevada. Queremos que a burocracia de Mimika sirva verdadeiramente o povo com o coração,” sublinhou o Administrador Johannes Rettob.
Dos 95 candidatos inscritos, apenas 59 foram aprovados na triagem administrativa e seguirão para as etapas seguintes: redação, avaliação de competências e entrevista final conduzida por uma equipa de assessores independentes.
Segundo Suprana Yusuf, a seleção aberta é a aplicação direta da Lei da Função Pública. “O princípio é simples: cargos de liderança devem ser preenchidos de forma aberta e competitiva, garantindo iguais oportunidades a todos os funcionários com base no mérito e desempenho,” explicou.
O processo deverá resultar em dirigentes capazes de inovar, reforçar a coordenação e responder rapidamente às necessidades da comunidade. No fim, esta iniciativa confirma o compromisso do Governo Municipal de Mimika em construir uma administração transparente, competitiva e orientada ao serviço público, rumo à visão do “Gerbang Emas” – o Portal Dourado do Despertar Económico Justo e Próspero.
