Di sana, Komandante Komandu Operasaun Polisia Nasional Timor-Leste (PNTL), Superintendente Xefe Polisia Justinho Menezes, menyampaikan amanat yang menggema jauh melampaui barisan pasukan. Ia meminta agar Unidade Espesial Polisia (UEP) selalu siap, selalu waspada, menjaga setiap denyut keamanan di tanah air Timor-Leste, Sabtu (13/9/2025)
“UEP harus selalu berada di garis terdepan, memastikan ketertiban dan keamanan dalam setiap aktivitas di seluruh wilayah negeri,” tegasnya usai formatura di markas UEP, Sabtu pagi.
UEP bukan sekadar unit polisi, melainkan garda penjaga bangsa. Dengan sub-unit seperti Batalhão Ordem Pública (BOP), Companhia Operasaun Espesial (COE), Companhia Seguransa Pesoal (CSP), hingga Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), mereka adalah tembok kokoh yang mengawal rakyat, menjaga negeri dari ancaman, dan merawat rasa aman yang tak ternilai.
Di balik wajah serius para personel, ada janji sunyi: bahwa keamanan Timor-Leste bukan hanya tanggung jawab institusi, melainkan persembahan tulus untuk rakyat dan generasi yang akan datang.
